droned

enter the wasteland
an endless sprawl of decay
scattered remains of a time long gone
encircle a vast abandoned plant
standing out like a monolith
against the horizon

night falls
creeping in through the bizarre contours
of the broken ceiling
and the blind panes of the arched windows
inside of the deserted hall where
vertical stacks of high-end speakers
are towering up on both sides of the
massive concrete columns

a shadowy figure arrives at the scene
adjusting the controls of a few devices
in the pale gleam of a laptop screen

a surge of ultra low frequencies
slowly banks up
traversing the space
to shift into currents
of searing electronic noise patterns
an ascending mural of sound

layer upon layer of monumental,
heavily distorted bass drones
lay the foundation for washes of
seraphic currents
which revolve around the place
to finally explode in your system
and the dark dome of heaven alike

the physical impact of frequencies
the intensity of the harmonic overtones
at this level of loudness
is almost tearing your guts apart
but thats just the neuron's song of joy

a hypnotic state deeply engraved in your mind
an ecstatic walk at the edge of reality
like standing on the event horizon of a black hole
like high-energy protons spilling over
into our atmosphere

like detecting a pathway to the ultimate ring
hidden deep down in your soul
a mightful reverence
to the essence of all things

oceanic dissolution
into the source
